This is a lightweight, fun motorcycle that's easy to ride and maintain. Just one kick always fires up the twin cylinder engine into a classic deep rumble. Electric starter also works perfectly. This is a lightweight, fun motorcycle that's easy to ride and maintain. Just one kick always fires up the twin cylinder engine into a classic deep rumble. Electric starter also works perfectly. CLASSIC SCRAMBLER 250
A 1990 Honda CD250U carefully restored and modified to participate in the Malle Mile Event 2024. These models with the twin CV carbs have the best performance and sound from a 250cc twin!
One of the challanges this year was to replace this 51 year old bikes engine with a modern 2008 engine.
This heavily involved new brackets, mounts, spacers, exhaust, sprockets, wire-loom, intake ports, switchgear, foot controls were all custom. As well as other parts which needed to replaced with new like fork stanchions, bearings, lights, seats, grips, cables, levers and gauges.
It was indeed a monumental task, one that I have not attempted before. The client is super excited and he can't wait to collect it.
